BEEN OUT OF COMMISSION

To the handful of people who glance at this blog, first let me say that I am thankful that you take the time to even look at it.  I pray that you find some value in something that is shared on these pages.

I try to post the transcripts of my messages every week.  Sometimes I may skip a Sunday or two, but I try to be faithful in this.  So, if you have been on this page before, you may have noticed a sizeable time gap since the last time I shared anything.

Hurricane Helene blew through our area on September 26th, with devastating results.  Our entire community here in south Georgia was impacted, with 100% power loss.  Our home was significantly damaged in the storm and was deemed not safe for habitation.

So, we have been scrambling to get settled temporarily at my mother-in-law's home while getting our furniture, appliances, and possessions out of the house before further damage occurred.

Power was restored within a week, but we did not get internet service restored.  We purchased a Starlink system, and now have internet, so I am going to try to publish the sermon transcripts from the last few weeks.

Please continue to remember those affected by Hurricane Helene through your prayers and donations.  There are so many people who are worse off than we are, especially in North Carolina and along the coast of Florida, who still need assistance.
